LFW, Day 4

LFW has gone by in a flash so far, and we can't believe we'll soon be halfway through fashion month.

Here's a small part of day four:

Michael van der Ham

Joan Miró's art, which has been classified as surrealism, and the portraits of Malian photographer Malick Sidibé were the inspiration for Michael van der Ham's Spring 2013 collection. Patterns resembling strokes of paintbrushes, a focus on lines and unconventional garment construction were put on display. The result is a sometimes delicate, but mostly edgy collection.

Peter Pilotto

It's part futuristic and part prints mania. There is definitely a lot to see in this Peter Pilotto collection. There are clashing prints, and the models walked on a floor that was just as adorned. It'll only be the brave that dare wear a head-to-toe look, but some of the separates could really add character to one's wardrobe.
Erdem

If a future Erdem collection didn't include florals, it would be disappointing. Nobody does florals better than Erdem Moralioglu. This time a few snake prints were in the mix, but the ultra feminine looks he creates were still what the show was about.
