Filed: Chic is a collection of what speaks to us in fashion, the world of celebrities or life. The site was created by 20-somethings Davalyn Suarez and Yara Simón, who spent countless hours sharing what they deemed chic with one another. After a year of struggles, the two decided it was the perfect time to tackle a project that encourages their mutual love for words and allows them to turn the negative into positive.
Davalyn is a Miami resident and majored in English at Florida International University. She loves Rocky Balboa, tracking down the cutest rompers and singing competitions. She heads the lifestyle and celebrity sections because she gets just as excited about exercising as red carpet coverage.
Yara graduated from the University of Florida, where she studied journalism and English. She’s into photography, online stores with discounted designer duds and old-time movies. She is the editor and is in charge of the fashion section, where she'll share her favorite collections and how to get the right look.
